The role of our prevention assistants
Our prevention assistants are both advisors and sparring partners and are managed by the dental hygienist. They provide instruction for the healthcare workers after the intake or adjustments to the oral care plan. The prevention assistants show how they can best perform oral care. They answer all questions and provide practical feedback. Afterwards they check whether the oral care has been carried out correctly. Healthcare workers generally find this collaboration pleasant and constructive.
